This is a new initative by Muaythai Online to recognise what the cream of British Muaythai have produced this year.
Voting takes place on Muaythai Online with the public deciding who will be recognised as each winner.
Nominations were open for the last two weeks and the following nominations have been successful:

Alix James vs Chris Polley - 14th October 2007

This fight, promoted by Master Sken, was on 14th October at the Geroge H Carnell Leisure Centre.>br?
Polley won this absolute war on points and even though he was put to to the canvas at one point - Polly came back to stand toe to toe for the entire fight and go on to win.
Damien Trainor vs Rungchai - 24th November 2007

This fight, promoted by Steve Logan, was on the 24th November at the Royal suite in Perry Bar, Birmingham for the WMC world title.
Rungchai won the exciting technical contest on points.
Duwao vs Sipmurn - in Wales

This fight, promoted by Pro Fight Promotions, was on the 8th September and a rematch of their close Rajadamern fight.
Duwao won the fight on points.
James France v Zdenek (Brno Thai, Czech Republic) for ISKA European title in Leeds Dec 1st

This fight, promoted by Bad Company took place on 1st December under Full Thai Rules.
France won the fight on points.
Phil Pullen vs Jay Woodham - 9th December 2007

This fight, promoted by Shin Kick Promotions, took place on 9th December at the HG Wells Suite in Woking.
Pullen was the winner of this bloody affair with a second round stoppage.
For end 2008 the ideal way to do this award would probably be to play the video of all the fights at the award ceremony and have voting then take place.
