VUT KAMNARK MUAY THAI BOXING Volume 4: Fighting Techniques (Unique Publications Video)

Again, another training video! Unfortunately this was given to me review with out the first three in the series, which I guess would cover exercise, stretching and basic techniques. This volume, number four concentrates on fighting techniques. It is shot in the training gym of Vut Kamnark, a massively experienced Champion Thai Boxer, now based in Los Angeles in America. Filmed in black and white, which does not detract from the quality of the video tuition given at all, the video 'stars' Vut Kamnark himself and one of his American students whose name I do not recall (sorry mate! Please feel free to email it in to the editor!), Vut describes everything he is doing but in Thai! Luckily the commentary is in English which clearly explains every technique. This will be a relatively short review as there is little to say about the video with out detailing every thing that is shown.

It is a very good video indeed; putting together a whole range of fighting techniques, which are, demonstrated a number of times each clearly and effectively. It starts of with shadow boxing, which is explained well and moves onto defending and countering. Vut shows different ways to defend against every sort of attack in a number of ways before showing how to counter against every sort of attack, again in a variety of different ways. Many different techniques are shown, all of them clearly enough for you the student to be able to practice them your self. After showing all the different defence and counter moves he demonstrates how to put them into practice in combinations, in the ring. As I said before there is very little I can say about the video, there is definitely nothing wrong with it, the techniques shown can be used by all students regardless of their level, I myself have used a number of them to train.

If you are after a good training video to offer you new techniques which are good for fighting or just to train with then this is the video for you. I recommend this to any one wanting to add to their training and to their repertoire of fighting techniques, well worth a look at. BUY IT!
