Fudebakudo - Martial Arts Cartoon

The cartoon Fudebakudo, or The Way of the Exploding Pen, first appeared as a regular feature in The Cartoonist newspaper in 1993 (in the UK). There are 50 titles in the whole thing, laying bare practically every aspect of the complex world of martial arts, from what kind of material is best for your black-belt to why samurai skilled in hojojutsu never fell for the "undone shoelace" trick.

Fudebakudo is now available in book form. However for samples, unless you can dig out old copies of The Cartoonist, the online gallery is the only place you can see it for the time being. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the wisdom of Fudebakudo by consulting the sophisticated yet inscrutable online mentor.

Yospace - Put your gym name/logo on your Nokia phone

If you have a Nokia phone its possible to replace your operator logo (eg. BTCellnet) with your own gyms name or logo. We found somewhere you can do this for free though...
Goto www.yospace.com. Register on the site and then click on the link called Mimage Maker. You should get to a screen with what looks like a very simple art package. You can then draw your logo or use the text tool to enter your gym name. Then simply follow the instructions to SMS it to your phone and remember to put the international code on your phone number and if you're in the UK drop the first 0.
