Capital Punishment. updated version

Sean Toomey Presents a night of Championship Thai Boxing at the World Famous York Hall, Bethnal Green, London, on sunday 19th November 2006. The previous two shows at this venue have been sold out, so get your tickets early. It promises to be a night of action packed excitement, and one of the biggest and best shows of the year, with the use of punches, kicks , knees and elbows being allowed.
The main event of the evening will be between London's David Paquette, against Moussa Konate from France, for the 70kg World Title under Full Thai Rules, which permits the use of Punches, Kicks, knees and elbows.
Paquette is one of the most exciting fighters in the UK at the moment, especially after his controversial points loss to Samkor Kiatmontep from Thailand , back in August, which most people at ringside thought that Paquette should have won, especially as the Thai Legend was cut to ribbons.
The Moussa Konate fight will be a tough one for Paquette as Konate is a well seasoned fighter and has fought all over the World, in top class company, and holds a version of a World Title, winning the belt from Mustapha Dede from Holland. Will the massive vocal support of the York Hall fans help David Paquette bring the belt home to England, we shall see.

Julie Kitchen from Penzance in Cornwall, takes on Annie Barven from France, for the Ladies World Title at 64kg. Kitchen , has won 13 out of her last 14 fights in the last 12 months, and is on a roll. She is British number 1 at 64kg, and recently won a World Title under K1 rules, and will be trying to add the Thai Boxing World Title belt to her numerous collection of belts.

Richard Fenwick wil be challenging French fight star Eddy Saban, under full Thai Rules at 70kg. Fenwick the The WMTO World Champion, will be trying to bounce back from his points loss to David Paquette in April, and it promises to be tough fight against Superleague fighter Saban, who has fought Peter Crooke and Farid Villaume. Fenwick is used to fighting at the top level, with his best result against Pixie Burton, from Australia, winning by KO to win the World Title.

The UK's top prospect, Michael Wakeling will take on Tony Ianntuonni from France, for the European Title at 70kg. Wakeling is a great techician with superb power, and is looking to add the European belt to his collection, who would bet against him winning and scaling the heady heights of his brother, Thai Boxing superstar Steven Wakeling. This fight will be a cracker, and one not to be missed, Michael Wakeling is going to go far.

Paul Marut from London takes on David Azzaro from France in the 70kg division, under Full Thai Rules, with the all action Marut, hoping to entertain the East end crowd, as he usually does with his never say die, come forward style.

The evening will consist of 16 bouts in total, with 8 of these bouts being five rounders, the other 8 bouts will be three rounders to showcase the up and coming talent, that one day may be challenging for titles.
