Di Paolo destroys Chu

Christian Di Paolo of Wicker Campo Sheffield, trained by Mick Mullaney put in a classy performance to take apart Nongkee Pahuyuth's Simon Chu. Chu himself is a strong fighter with a mean left hook and strong left leg. With what looked like a weight advantage Di Paolo stalked Chu round the ring for the majority of the second round. In the third he put Chu down for two knockdowns with big straight right hands. In the fourth Di Paolo continued to apply the pressure to finish Chu with by stoppage with a knee to the head to take the IMPTF world title.

Di Paolo's next fight will be a tough one against Ashwin Balrak of Sitan Gym in Rotterdam Holland on September 28th 2003.
