Hunt To Put In Hard Hards For k1 Oceania

Reigning K-1 Oceania champion, Mark Hunt, is preparing to put in the hard yards in defence of his crown.

Hunt, who won the crown under Alex Tui's tutelage, how shifted camps to Hape's Gym due to geographical convenience. In late January, Hunt will travel to Thailand for four weeks with trainer Hape Ngaronoa to ready himself for his title defence.

Hunt came into last year's K-1 Oceania tournament as an underdog and proceeded to win with victories over Clay Aumitagi (TKO), Ron Sefo (dec) and Phil Fagan (KO).

On February 24, Hunt will square off against "Nasty Boy" Nathan Briggs in the tourney's fourth quarter final.
