Liam Harrison wins WMC world title

On 25th November at the Rebook De Vere Hotel, Liam Harrison fulfilled his dream to become WMC world champion.

Harrison beat Numphol to win the 61.5 kilo world title. These two had met previously earlier in the year where Numphol beat Harrison on points in a very close fight that many English people thought could have gone the other way.
This time a more focussed and determined Harrison made sure there was no question as he stopped Numpol in style with a left hook in the fourth round.

Also on the show Andy Howson, also from Bad Company, won the WMC Intercontinental title.
