Matchmakers around the World have been working hard on PAIN & GLORY the fightsport spectacular being staged at The NEC Arena on the 24th April. In the K-1 Superfights it has been confirmed that England's Pele Reid will face K-1 Champion of France Tony Gregory. It looks likely that K-1 UK Champion Gary Turner will face Sergey Gur from Belarus he is a stable mate of K-1 Star Alexy Ignashov and won K-1 Italy 2000. Mark Russell will have a rematch with Croatia's Sinisa Andrjavic they have met twice in the past with one win each. Andrjasvic will put his WAKO-PRO World Super-heavyweight Thaiboxng title on the line in this rubber stamp match with Russell.

The MMA Superfights are yet to be confirmed there is a rumour that Lee Hasdell will make his fight his last competitive match. Lee is about to be interviewed for the cover of next months Fighters Magazine where are he will confirm or deny the retirement gossip. Both Lee Hasdell and Mark Weir will face Japanese opponents who will be named shortly. An extra MMA fight has been added between Alex Reid and Paul Taylor. Stuart Barrs will also face domestic opposition who will be confirmed soon.

In the Muaythai Superfights Peter Crooke will face Khunpon Dechkampu of Thailand.
Crooke and Khunpon have met twice before with one win each. This time Crooke will put his WAKO-PRO World on the line. The match between Neil Woods and Kevin Harper has been confirmed. Damien Trainor is likely to face a Japanese Champion, an extra Muaythai fight may be added to the card featuring rising star Liam Harrison. All matches will be 5x3 minute rounds full Muaythai rules.

The England V USA Kickboxing team match has been confirmed, England's team captain and ISKA World Champion Fran Zuccala will face Larry Jarrett (USA) Harvey Harra will face Christopher Algieri (USA) and Neil Kelly will face Randy Pogue (USA) all matches will be 5x2 min. rounds Full Contact Kickboxing rules.
