Muaythai club to raise money for Comic Relief

A new fight has been added to the Tower ballroom line up. Brian Taylor from the Rama gym in Bradford will be facing Chris Stenson from Dragons gym in Mary Port.
Both fighters are very experienced and this should be an excellent fight

Because of the cancellation of the planned show in Liverpool featuring Jomhod, ticket sales have sky rocketed for the WMTO Tower Ballroom, show in Birmingham on Sunday 25th March.

The International show will feature fighters from HOLLAND against K-Star’s Gav The Man and Damien Trainor in a WMTO EUROPEAN TITLE.

In the ENGLAND Vs WALES team contest Mark Gusso of England will face Justin Reeks of Wales and Ian Thompson of Wales will face Paul Young from the Dragons gym representing England. The proposed Anglo Welsh title is now off and Tony Hayes from Warriors will be Facing Damien Hood from Tony Myres’ Pra Cha Suua camp.

Also lined up will be and WMTO English title fight between Jason Richards From K-Star Thai Boxing Academy and Dave Taylor from Knuckles gym.

A WMTO Midland title fight will be contested between old rivals Danny Atherton and Ben Jordan.

Fighters from all over England will be fighting, gyms represented are Lumpini, Phraya Pichai, Sitnarong, Warriors, Saints, Nomads, K-Star, Suprende, Cambridge Free Fight, Mungkorin, Warrington, Dragons, spirit of Siam, Rama, Thai Diamonds, Sai’s, Knuckles and Bromley.

The main event will be a scorcher. Damien Trainor already holds the IKF European title and is hoping to add the WMTO European title to his collection. Trainor is a class act and has beaten most of Britain’s top fighters at his weight including Champions Morris Reilly, Leroy Atkinson, Nordin ElOtmani of Holland (now WPKL European Champion), Kieran Keddle, Frank Crosswell, Craig Bithell, Chris McDonald (Chris has also beaten Damien) Dennis Kokbe of Denmark (now IKF European Champion), Neil Parry (Wako Commonwealth Champion) Paul Spinks and Craig Shaw.
